The Helium LoRa network is a decentralized wireless (DeWi) network that uses long range wide area network (LoRaWAN) technology to connect IoT devices.

Similar to the Amazon Key service, which allows drivers to unlock your front door or garage to securely deliver packages, Key for Business gives Amazon Drivers access to unlock gates, call-boxes and other controller access entry points to make deliveries to businesses and multi-family communities.

Exede’s focus was improving the quality of satellite broadband speeds delivered to rural homes. At the time Exede launched it’s new fleet of satellites into orbit, the average internet speed available to homes was less than 6 mbps.

Planning for ahead for their IPO, which took place early 2020, Vivint SmartHome decided to spinoff the Internet program. After years of development, Vivint Internet released their propriety radio and a new network model to match.
